Phil Nichol

Phil Nichol is an astounding madcap ball of energy mixed with hysterical and at times very moving material which leaves every audience he plays to aware of just how good he is.

He appeared as Terry Gilliam in ‘Holy Flying Circus’ with Rufus Hound and Steve Punt, and  starred alongside Rob Brydon in the BBC’s ‘Annually Retentive’ playing his producer and achieved a level of cult status for playing camp showbiz reporter Josh Cashman on ‘Broken News’.

His other TV credits read like a copy of the Radio Times put through the shredder and randomly taped back together – ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, ‘The Weakest Link’, ‘Comedy Shuffle’, ‘The Graham Norton Show’, ‘Richard Bacon’s Beer and Pizza Club’, ‘The Most Annoying Pop Songs…We Hate to Love’…

In addition, he has a well respected career in the theatre having starred alongside Christian Slater in the West End smash hit ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest’ and with Bill Bailey and Alan Davies in ‘The Odd Couple’
