October 13th – James Redmond, Sam Gore & Danny Deegan

James Redmond is a dry, slick and subtle stand up who delivers unexpected twists and turns during his set as he deconstructs his art.

A man who can look at ease with a canapé, he first came into the public eye as a model and went on to make his name as an actor. He is best known for roles in ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Casualty’.

He has appeared on ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, ‘Celebrity Come Dine With Me’ with fellow comedians Paul Foot & Joey Page, and is a regular guest and contributor on ‘Soccer AM’ & Radio 5 Live.

It looks like his third incarnation as a comedian is going to be a sucess.

Sam Gore thrives on deliciously vitriolic attacks on celebrities, exquisite in their brutal imagery. His persona may be cold, smug and arrogant, but there are finely-written jokes behind the sneering. Having cemented his position as one of the best young performers on the circuit he’s gone on to impress everywhere from weekend clubs to music festivals, biker rallies to theatres.

Sam’s been wowing crowds and rapidly climbing the comedy ladder since he started his stand-up career in 2007. He’s attracted more than a little attention, not least with him cleaning up and winning almost every new act competition in the country. A confident and original young act with a brilliant command of language, he is currently writing for ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and  Chris Addison’s ‘Show and Tell’, One thing is certain – there is more to come!

Razor sharp Mancunian with wicked witticisms that belie his fresh-faced boy band demeanour and a shed load of brutally funny anecdotes. The inventiveness in the set-up, and a couple of neat twists, also add to the quality.

tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met travelling.  His talent and likeability coupled with a confident swagger have seen him gain repeat bookings for some of the biggest promoters in the country.
