29th September – Chris Ramsey, Michael Fabbri & Matt Reed

Chris Ramsey  firmly established himself as a major force in comedy during the summer having been nominated for this year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award.

As seen on ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘8 Out Of 10 Cats’, ‘Comedy Rocks’ and on last week’s opening episode of E4’s ‘Show & Tell” as well as co-hosting ‘Jason Cook’s Happiness HQ’ on Radio 4.

This jovial Geordie is sickeningly young and frighteningly talented. This time next year he’ll be a household name, just wait and see!

Michael Fabbri quickly stamped his mark on the UK circuit appearing in the 2003 final of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? and rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most promising up and coming comedians on the circuit.  A reputation that he is living up to, regularly performing for the best clubs in the country.

With a dark and honest approach to some of life’s more touchy subjects Fabbri manages to effortlessly slip between some harsh, controversial topics to light-hearted silliness to make for a refreshingly eclectic and brilliantly funny act.

As pleasant as he is wonderfully brutal, Matt Reed is a joy to watch, entertaining the crowd while skilfully destroying any heckler that crosses his path.

Born and bred in Sunderland, Matt’s affable style has won him fans across the UK. He effortlessly plays with the crowd with a natural rapport that is found in few comics. Matt, always ready, never disappointing will always make a good gig – great.
